Antioxidants

Goji Berry – a sweet tasting berry that grows in Tibet, the Himalayas, and Mongolia. Also nicknamed as the “Happy Berry” because of the sense of well being it seems to induce. Chinese medicine states this berry helps with eyesight, boosts sperm production, protects the liver and improves circulation among other things. Many antioxidants are in goji berry. Gogi berry has many vitamins. Gogi berry is in Ganovia Coffee.
Why antioxidants are important?
Some people rave about something just because they’re told “it’s good for you.” Few actually understand why. Antioxidants are commonly victims of this confusion. Antioxidants promote health and protect the body by fighting off free radicals and letting the body function properly.
Free radicals are the reason antioxidants are necessary. A free radical can be absorbed through inhaling or as any damage to the body such as x-rays, sun damage, or pollution in the air. They can be characterized by having an unmatched electron, making them unstable. Once in the body, the free radical searches for another cell from which it will steal an electron to stabilize itself. This cell could be anywhere in the body, depending on where that particular free radical is best suited to attack. When it steals the electron, it turns the victim cell into a free radical. This creates a chain of damaged and mutated cells, which replicate and create more mutated cells. Disease and cancer is often found in the wake of a free radical chain. These chains can either be stopped by two free radicals meeting, thus stabilizing themselves when their extra electrons meet, or by the power of antioxidants.
Antioxidants can be explained by their names; they slow oxidation levels in the body. Oxidation is when something loses or gains an electron. A sliced apple will turn brown. A car will rust. Naturally, cells also die. Oxidation is, at an unaided rate, natural. However, free radicals speed up the process and, in a sense, age the body faster. Antioxidants are nutrients and enzymes that capture and neutralize free radicals, slowing that aging process. Certain types of antioxidants work better in certain areas of the body, which is why different types of antioxidants are necessary.
Many commonly known vitamins are antioxidants. Vitamin A improves vision and can be obtained from carrots, liver, whole milk, spinach, kale, peppers, apricots, mangos, and peaches. Citrus fruits are full of vitamin C and are good for tissue growth and repair, and the health of collagen, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Vitamin C cannot be created or stored within the body, but is vital to proper health. Selenium is necessary in small amounts, and can be found in beef, cod fish, cottage cheese, eggs, turkey, breads, pastas, oatmeal, walnuts, and brazil nuts. Brazil nuts are the most potent source of selenium, and thus should be limited. Selenium is important in regulating thyroids. Despite all of these, berries remain the most popular source of antioxidants. Gogi Berry is a potent and concentrated source of antioxidants.
With antioxidants in a person’s system, their body will perform better and more efficiently. A person will feel more awake and energized. More efficient bodies will also burn fat better. Antioxidants are all around good for the body, working as an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and quick pick-me-up.
Some might now feel like running out to devour as many antioxidant rich foods that they can when they find out the full potential of these nutrients. Anything if taken in excess, however, can become dangerous and do more harm than help. Supplements and better diets are commendable, but always beware of overdosing. Antioxidants aren’t to be taken for granted, nor to be forgotten. Without them, the body would be at the complete mercy of its surroundings.

Cordyceps Benefits
A Traditional Chinese medicine known as “The Healing Mushroom”. It used to treat liver, kidney and heart disease, as well as immune system disorders and diabetes. Its also reported to have anti-cancer properties.
Nowadays Cordyceps Sinensis is something new, special, and hardly familiar to the Western world. Scientists have not managed to study it properly for the time being. The greatest source of information about Cordyceps is its motherland – China, where researchers have already been working for some time on the unclosing the secrets and mysteries of the fungus.
The further statements about health benefits of the mushroom are the results of the numerous Chinese trials of Cordyceps; therefore, they are at first hand.
Enhancing and strengthening of the immune system. Cordyceps is supposed to increase the number of the Natural Killer Cells, which are responsible for the body defense against viruses and bacteria. Some trials show that the fungus works effectively in the leukemia stricken individuals.
Improving sexual function in men and increasing libido by stimulating the production of sex hormones. Cordyceps may also be a means for fighting female infertility.
Building muscles and improving physical performance. Those Chinese athletes, who use Cordyceps, tend to show better results than the other sportsmen.
Providing anti-aging and fatigue reducing effects. The fungus works as an antioxidant and increases cellular formation, especially in the elderly patients. It also promotes more restful sleep, soothes the nervous system, and reduces anxiety, thus working as a sedative.
Improving the respiratory function. Cordyceps shows good results in fighting against cough, chronic bronchitis and asthma, since it relaxes bronchial walls and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Enhancing cellular oxygen uptake. This benefits all the body systems, giving them more energy and vitality.
Benefiting vascular system by improving circulation, regulating blood pressure, and strengthening the heart muscle.
Protecting liver and kidneys. Cordyceps improves blood flow to these organs (as well as to the others), which results in their better activity and ability to fight the diseases, including Hepatitis and chronic kidney disease.
Some people may think of the fungi as of something disgusting and ugly. However, the mushrooms do not look so when in a tablet or a capsule. Moreover, Cordyceps will definitely become even attractive to those, who have no trust in the pharmaceutical drugs any more. 2-4 grams (some people consume even up to 9 grams) of the mushrooms per day – it is nor an exorbitant price for the health improvement, which may become obvious as soon as in 1-2 months.
Cordyceps is said to be safe and has no side effects. However, pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children are not recommended to use it, since no studies have been conducted in such persons.
Luckily, time, progress, and the growing demands of the modern society make the scientists keep on working on the unsolved problems and open questions of today. That gives us hopes that soon Cordyceps will become an open book easy to read and understand for all the people.

Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi Outstanding Medicinal Mushroom
Does Ganovia Lower Blood Pressure?
Ganoderma Mushroom – also known as the Red Reishi Mushroom. Chinese medicine reports that this mushroom has antioxidant, analgesic (pain relieving), anti-inflammatory qualities. They say it lowers blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, and blood sugar. More information from Troy MacClean

If you take only one medicinal mushroom, make it Ganoderma. Also known as Red Reishi in Japan or Lingzhi in China, Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi is a type of mushroom that’s renowned for its fantastic medicinal properties and has been used in traditional medicine throughout Asia for centuries. Documents confirm it’s been in use for more than 2000 years.
There are 2 parts to the mushroom, the red fruit body, and the root system.Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi
Reishi Gano or RG capsules contain pure Ganoderma Lucidum powder from the fruit (that’s the red disc-like part in the picture).
Ganocelium or GL capsules contain pure Ganoderma Mycelium powder from the root (they’re the long straggly bits).
RG contains over 400 different nutrients, while GL contains over 200. So we’re talking about some very power-packed capsules.
And just why is this particular mushroom so good for you?
Talk to any practitioner of herbal, traditional and Chinese medicine, or any naturalist or naturopath. In their rich armory, medicinal mushrooms feature strongly. There’s a reason for this. Firstly, they’re a natural product (well, that stands to reason).
But mostly it’s because the nutrient-rich Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi medicinal mushroom is the most nutrient-rich of all the medicinal mushrooms.
Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi contains a vast array of Polysaccharides, Organic Germanium, Adenosine, Tripterpines, amino acids, ganoderic acids, anti-oxidants, proteins, vitamins, minerals and enzymes. It’s also classed as an adaptogen, which means it can enter and clean toxic cells.
Phew. That’s a lot for a single plant. You can see why practitioners and users sing its praises.
The key benefits of Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi reach all parts of the body
More and more clinical research into Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi is confirming what the practitioners of old already knew. That Ganoderma can help reduce the incidence and the effects of many major diseases and conditions.
Here’s a snapshot of some of these studies:
1.Cardiovascular disease – in inhibiting platelet aggregation and reducing hypertension.
2.Immune system – in particular, in cancer research, recording positive immune-modulating effects and reduced side-effects from chemotherapy and radiation.
3.Blood sugar balance – with a blood sugar lowering effect, elevation of plasma insulin levels, and enhanced liver metabolism of glucose.
4.Anti-inflammatory effects – showing comparable effects to hydro-cortisone.
5.Liver protector – studies with Hepatitis B Patients found Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi reduced the elevated levels of liver enzymes to normal range.
7.Oxygenation – a reduction in altitude sickness by oxygenating the blood.
And here’s good news especially if you have a busy lifestyle.
Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi is the most alkaline food in the world. You probably didn’t know this, but most of us have bodies that are in a state of acidosis. Sadly, that’s not good news. In short, we eat too many acidic foods and drinks too many acidic drinks (even though they may not taste tart).
The body operates at its best and most efficient when in a slightly alkaline state. But acidosis means that instead of being in a peak fighting state, it’s fighting with one hand tied behind its back. Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi helps restore the body’s pH balance to it’s preferred alkaline state. With regular use, it’s back to a fair fight. And with some 150 disease that can’t survive in an alkaline body, it’s a fight you really want to win.
You may feel fit and healthy now, but what happens when lifestyle catches up? You’d be living under a rock not to know that chronic disease is on the rise. And the seeds are sown early on. It’s just that we don’t see it coming. Diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, obesity and many other conditions are by and large a result of the body’s own immune system under stress. The major organs that clean our cells become overloaded with a toxic mass because of lifestyle and eating choices and can’t cope. This happens over a number of years. It’s disease by stealth.
So the organs have to store those toxins in our cells until they can get around to dealing with them all. Imagine it’s a bit like rubbish bins on the street. UN-emptied, the bins overflow, and turn nasty. Before you know it, you’re dodging and weaving around mess. And the smell! Well, imagine your poor body having to storing up its waste in different parts of you and how inefficient that makes its functioning!
And once the cleaning functions are impaired, there’s only one way to go, and that’s downhill. But a lot of this is reversible. Just because you have chronic disease, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re condemned to have it forever. A change of attitude, diet and lifestyle, together with regular use of Ganoderma can and has been shown to reverse many conditions.
So now you know more about Ganoderma Reishi Lingzhi, do you think it could help you too?
